Job Title: Support Worker - Support Hub Drop-in
Salary: Commencing £25,584
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Roles: Full-time (weekdays) and Part-time (weekends)
About the Service
The Welcome Organisation’s Support Hub is based at 2 Victoria Street, Belfast and operates 8am–6pm, 365 days a year. The Hub provides essential support for people who are affected by homelessness, including food, clothing, washing facilities, advice and signposting to Northern Ireland Housing Executive Homeless support.
About the Role
We’re recruiting both full-time and part-time Support Workers to play a key role in delivering day-to-day support within this busy drop-in service. You’ll work with people experiencing homelessness who may also have experienced trauma such as eviction, substance misuse, addiction, being care experienced or returning to the community following custody. The service operates a high-tolerance, low-threshold approach, supporting people to make informed choices based on their needs and aspirations.
Full-time staff typically work 4 x 10-hour shifts Monday–Friday, while part-time staff work 2 x 10-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals who can work constructively with service users in a fast-paced environment and are motivated to help people access the support they need.

Support Worker - Catherine House
Job Title: Support Worker - Catherine House
Location: Catherine House - Supported Accommodation for Women
Salary: Commencing £26,409
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the Service
Catherine House is a therapeutic, trauma-informed supported housing service for up to 10 women, established in 2023. The service supports women to progress in their recovery from homelessness and other forms of trauma while living in semi-independent accommodation. Levels of support and length of stay are based on individual choice and progress, with some residents remaining for up to two years.
About the Role
We’re seeking passionate and committed Support Workers to join our team and help make a meaningful difference to women’s lives. You’ll work within a recovery-focused, trauma-informed environment, supporting residents to build stability, confidence and independence. Catherine House is part of a wider network of women’s services within The Welcome Organisation, offering opportunities to work across other services.
Women-Only Requirement
Catherine House is a protected women-only service due to the gender-based trauma experienced by many residents. Under the Genuine Occupational Qualification of the Sex Discrimination (Northern Ireland) Order 1976, applications can only be accepted from women.
