Job Title: Support Worker - Women’s Supported Accommodation
Location: Supported Accommodation Service for Women
Salary: Commencing £26,409
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible options available)
Shifts: Days 8am–8.30pm / Nights 8pm–8.30am, 7 days per week
About the Service
With funding from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, our Women’s Supported Accommodation Service provides temporary housing for up to 16 women who are homeless and experiencing multiple, complex challenges. Support is tailored to individual needs, with some residents staying up to two years as they prepare for independent living.
About the Role
We’re recruiting up to five Support Workers to provide practical and emotional support to residents. The role focuses on developing essential life skills such as problem solving, healthy living, financial literacy and budgeting, to help women sustain a tenancy and live independently. You’ll work closely with Case Workers and Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioners in a trauma-informed environment. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants interested in overnight shifts.
About You
You’ll have at least one year’s experience (paid, voluntary or personal) supporting people with complex needs, along with a genuine commitment to supporting women to overcome challenges and achieve independence.

Job Title: Support Worker - Assertive Street Outreach
Location: Belfast (Street-based services)
Hours: Full-time (42.5 hrs) and Part-time (20 hrs)
Salary:

About the Service
The Welcome Organisation supports people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, many of whom are affected by trauma, addiction, poor mental and physical health, and social exclusion. Our Assertive Street Outreach team plays a vital role engaging with people sleeping rough across Belfast.
About the Role
We’re recruiting up to four full-time and five part-time Support Workers to join this dynamic, street-based service. The team operates daily from 7am to 3am, providing assertive, trauma-informed support to people who may be disengaged from services.
Shifts are worked on a rota across two teams:

Team 1: 7am–4pm / 5pm–2am

Team 2: 8am–5pm / 6pm–3am
We aim to rotate day and night shifts, though preferences will be considered. A clean driving licence is desirable.
About You
You’ll have at least one year’s experience supporting people with complex needs and a strong commitment to working with people experiencing rough sleeping. This role suits someone resilient, compassionate and confident working in challenging environments.
