Job Title: Women's Hub Navigator

Salary: £41,511
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term for 2 years

About the Role
The Welcome Organisation is recruiting a Women’s Hub Navigator to lead an innovative two-year pilot project aimed at improving outcomes for women experiencing multiple exclusion and chronic homelessness.

Funded through the Homewards NI Fund, this role will work on behalf of the Women’s Hub, a partnership involving Belfast City Council’s Complex Lives Programme, Depaul, Health and Social Care NI, Northern Ireland Housing Executive, the Public Health Agency, Simon Community and The Welcome Organisation.

The Women’s Hub Navigator will develop and coordinate a trauma-informed, holistic and cross-agency approach to supporting women with complex needs and improving access to services, housing stability and long-term outcomes.

Key Aspects of the Role

  • Complex Needs: Supporting women facing multiple barriers, including mental health issues, addiction and trauma.

  • Difficulty Sustaining Housing: Working with women who have struggled to maintain permanent or temporary accommodation.

  • Long-Term Service Use: Supporting women who are often long-term users of emergency and homelessness-related services.

  • Beyond Rough Sleeping: Addressing the needs of women trapped in recurring cycles of homelessness, whether or not they are sleeping rough.

 

The project brings together key partners to develop innovative and sustainable approaches to addressing the recurring issues affecting this group of women, ensuring gender-specific needs are prioritised in service delivery.

About You
You’ll be passionate about improving services for women experiencing homelessness and have the skills to build effective partnerships across multiple organisations. You’ll understand the barriers faced by women with complex needs and be committed to delivering innovative, trauma-informed and gender-responsive solutions.
