We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Welcome throughout 2020 and the beginning of 2021 by donating clothes, toiletries, food and money.
In what has been such a challenging year for all of us we have been overwhelmed by your generosity. Your support will help us support people affected by homelessness as we enter a new year.
Thanks to your generosity we are no longer currently able to accept any more donations of clothes or toiletries.
We simply have nowhere left to store them or the resources to manage donations coming in.
We also do not want to deprive other charities from precious resources by taking what we do not need so please take your clothes and toiletries donations to other hostels and shelters who might still be in need of them.
We will make appeals throughout the year for specific items that we run out of but in the meantime we have full clothes and toiletries stores and a full heart because of your generosity.
We would want to stress that we can’t deliver our full range of services without the phenomenal support of the public and it is critical you continue with that support.
Items we can currently still accept are:
Non-perishable food Sleeping bags
Women's clothes in sizes 6,8 and 10 - including t-shirts, tops, leggings, jeans, underwear and hoodies
