The film represents the reality faced by our teams every day. In the past two days alone our teams have administered life saving naloxone injections to people suffering drug overdoses on four separate occasions. That's four lives saved.
It's also important to reiterate the point that this is not a homelessness issue - this is a public health issue and not everyone who has died recently has been homeless.
That is why we repeat our calls for more investment in addiction services and mental health services so we, and other organizations, can begin to tackle this crisis in a meaningful way.
